Tomorrow is the fourth Thursday of the month, which means I will be set up at the Bridgewater Retirement Community Farmer’s Market. Running from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., this charming market is open to the public, so stop by and check it out! Last month was my first time setting up there, and it was an absolute delight. I will have tomatoes, summer squash, a few cucamelons, and garlic, as well as garlic salt and an array of crocheted items.
On Saturday, I have a family event that unfortunately conflicts with the Broadway Community Market, so I will not be there this week.
My squash plants are still hanging in there despite the vine borers, but my early tomato plants look just about done (the mid- and late-season varieties are fine), and the cucumber vines suddenly look terrible. The garden continually surprises me – in good and unpleasant ways – so keep an eye on these weekly updates to know what’s growing – and what isn’t!
