The holidays are upon us! To help you get ready, the Broadway Community Market is opening tomorrow afternoon for a special Thanksgiving and Holiday Market, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The forecast is calling for beautiful, warm, sunny weather, so come out and enjoy it! I have been having so much fun trying new crochet patterns in the past weeks to create items for host gifts, holiday gifts, or just a treat for yourself.
I’ve made cup cozies, which are stretchy and have buttons so they fit on a range of cups and mugs. I also finally tried a pattern I’ve had my eye on for coasters sets with handy baskets! In addition to those, I have a couple of Harry Potter-themed coaster sets as well. For the little ones on your list, I have a couple adorable fishbowl stuff-and-spill toys. And then to be festive, I whipped up a few mini stockings, which are the perfect size for gift cards, small gifts, or decorative greenery.
For your holiday feasts (or gifting!), I’ll also have heirloom butternut squash that I like putting in everything from soups to pies. And, of course, you might find a few last jars of dilly beans and garlic salt.
As if all that wasn’t enough, my mom and I are spending most of today baking … for you! Come by the the market at the Veterans Memorial Wall in Broadway tomorrow afternoon to find out what’s making our kitchens smell so good today.
See you at the market!
